Make compliance your key to success not an impediment to moving forward.
One of the conditions of the granting of a Certificate of Registration and the authority to work in real estate as an Assistant Agent is the requirement to complete continuing professional (CPD) development each year. The function of CPD is to ensure agents keep their knowledge up to date and also to provide a pathway for Assistant Agents to obtain their Real Estate Licence.
All Assistant Agents must apply for and obtain a real estate licence before the expiry of the Assistant Agents authority (4 years). However, an Assistant Agent can apply for a licence once they have a minimum of 12 months experience, have completed the Cert IV and they have successfully completed Fair Trading's evidence of work experience logbook,
The CPD pathway requires all Assistant Agents to completed a minimum of 3 units of competency from the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) each CPD year ending 22 March each year (please note that units must be completed and passed successfully prior to this deadline).
Real E-training offers a number of easy and flexible options to complete your CPD obligations and put you on the right track to getting your licence.
You can choose to enrol in the entire Cert IV up front, complete the course in clusters or even just one unit at a time, depending on your budget and the time-frame you in which you would like to complete the course.
